With a herd of 1,200 sheep, which graze on more than 600 organically managed grass pastures in Old Chatham, New York, the Old Chatham Sheepherding Company is the largest producer of sheep’s milk in the country. Sheep’s milk products from Old Chatham have unique health benefits because protein in sheep’s milk is double that of cow’s milk and the calcium content is 50 percent greater. Old Chatham products are 100 percent natural and do not use gums, fiber, gelatin, pectin, powdered milk or stabilizers.
